Definition<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">In these terms of carriage, the following expressions have the following meanings:<br \/>\n\u201cTariff, List of tariff and tax, fees, charges, taxes, other taxes, surcharges\u201d means the fees and<br \/>\ncharges as required by Us and the Authorities, including airport service fees, fuel surcharges,<br \/>\nand security charges.<br \/>\n\u201cRoute\u201d means a flight from the airport at the place of departure to the airport at the place of<br \/>\ndestination, including any intermediate stops specified in the Ticket.<br \/>\n\u201cWe \/ Us \/ Our \/ Ourselves\u201d means Lanexang Airways International Co., Ltd., a Lao-based<br \/>\nairline operating domestic and international flights.<br \/>\n\u201cConnecting flight\u201d means a subsequent flight providing onward travel under the same Ticket,<br \/>\nother types of Ticket, or on a conjunction Ticket, operated by Us or another carrier under a<br \/>\ncodeshare or interline agreement.<br \/>\n\u201cConvention\u201d means any document listed below, when applied:<br \/>\ni. The Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules for International Carriage by Air signed<br \/>\non 28 May 1999 (hereinafter referred to as the Montreal Convention);<br \/>\nii. The Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules Relating to International Carriage by<br \/>\nAir signed in Warsaw on 12 October 1929 (hereinafter referred to as the Warsaw Convention);<br \/>\niii. The Warsaw Convention which was amended in The Hague on 28 September 1955<br \/>\n(hereinafter referred to as the amended Warsaw Convention in The Hague);<br \/>\niv. Any other applicable protocols, Conventions, or legal documents, including but not limited<br \/>\nto the Tokyo Convention of 1963 on Offences and Certain Other Acts Committed on Board<br \/>\nAircraft.<br \/>\n\u201cThe competent authorities, specialized agencies\u201d include domestic agencies such as the Lao<br \/>\nCivil Aviation Authority, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Laos, and international<br \/>\nagencies such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), International Air<br \/>\nTransport Association (IATA), and other relevant aviation regulatory bodies.<br \/>\n\u201cAgent\u201d means a Ticket Agent or travel agency authorized by Us to represent Us in the sale of<br \/>\nair transportation products on our flights and, when authorized, on flights operated by other air<br \/>\ncarriers.<br \/>\n\u201cStopover\u201d means a scheduled stop on a Passenger\u2019s journey, at a point between the place of<br \/>\ndeparture and the place of destination, lasting more than 24 hours and agreed upon at the time<br \/>\nof booking.<br \/>\n\u201cForce majeure\u201d means unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond Our or Passengers\u2019<br \/>\ncontrol, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or global health emergencies, the<br \/>\nconsequences of which could not have been avoided despite all due care.<br \/>\n\u201cTerms of carriage\u201d means the requirements and content related to carriage that We have<br \/>\nnotified Passengers, including information displayed on Tickets, Our Website, Mobile<br \/>\napplication, approved Conditions of Carriage, in-flight announcements, or other official<br \/>\ncommunication channels.<br \/>\n\u201cConditions of Contract\u201d means the terms printed on the paper or electronic Ticket (the<br \/>\nItinerary, Receipt, or Confirmation of itinerary), which incorporate these Conditions of<br \/>\nCarriage, fare rules, and other referenced information.<br \/>\n\u201cConditions of Carriage\u201d means these Conditions of Carriage or those of other Carriers, as<br \/>\napplicable, forming part of the Contract of Carriage, prescribing the conditions for the carriage<br \/>\nof Passengers, Baggage, goods, mail, parcels, and letters by air.<br \/>\n\u201cUnit\u201d means the currency unit defined as Special Drawing Rights (SDR) by the International<br \/>\nMonetary Fund, converted to Lao Kip (LAK) based on the official exchange rate announced by<br \/>\nthe Bank of the Lao PDR at the time of payment.<br \/>\n\u201cFares\u201d are stipulated in Article 4 of these Conditions of Carriage and exclude taxes, fees, and<br \/>\nsurcharges unless otherwise stated.<br \/>\n\u201cOther carrier(s)\u201d means any carriers other than Us, identified by their airline codes (a<br \/>\ncombination of 2 characters or numbers) printed on the Passenger\u2019s Ticket or Conjunction<br \/>\nTicket.<br \/>\n\u201cPassenger\u201d means any individual, except members of the operating crew, carried or to be<br \/>\ncarried on an aircraft with Our consent, pursuant to a valid Ticket.<br \/>\n\u201cBaggage\u201d means personal property accompanying Passengers in connection with their<br \/>\njourneys, including Checked Baggage, Hand Baggage, and personal items carried aboard,<br \/>\nunless otherwise specified.<br \/>\n\u201cChecked Baggage\u201d means Baggage delivered to Us for transportation in the hold of an aircraft,<br \/>\nfor which We have issued a Baggage identification tag and taken into Our custody.<br \/>\n\u201cHand Baggage\u201d means Baggage, other than Checked Baggage, brought on board by<br \/>\nPassengers and remaining in their custody during flights, including personal items like purses<br \/>\nor laptops.<br \/>\n\u201cContract of Carriage\u201d means the agreement between the Carrier and the Passenger, whereby<br \/>\nthe Carrier transports the Passenger and their Baggage to the destination, and the Passenger<br \/>\npays for the transportation service. This contract is evidenced by a Ticket or its equivalent.<br \/>\n\u201cBooking code\u201d means the unique confirmation code of a Passenger\u2019s reservation in Our<br \/>\nbooking system, also referred to as a PNR (Passenger Name Record).<br \/>\n\u201cDay(s)\u201d means all seven days of the week per the Gregorian calendar, with time calculations<br \/>\nbased on the local time at the point of departure.<br \/>\n\u201cAuthority\u201d means any governmental agency, governing body, or authorized<br \/>\nindividuals\/organizations with jurisdiction over aviation operations.<br \/>\n\u201cRelevant service suppliers\u201d means entities or individuals authorized to provide services such<br \/>\nas reservation, Ticket sales, payment processing, aviation procedures, ground handling, or other<br \/>\naviation-related services for passenger transportation.<br \/>\n\u201cLaw\u201d means any law, decree, decision, circular, regulation, or other legal document issued by<br \/>\na competent Authority, as amended, supplemented, or replaced from time to time.<br \/>\n\u201cTicket office\u201d means Our official ticket sales counters located at airports or designated<br \/>\nlocations.<br \/>\n\u201cOur regulations\u201d means rules and policies, other than these Conditions of Carriage, issued by<br \/>\nUs concerning the carriage of Passengers and Baggage, published on Our Website, Mobile<br \/>\napplication, or other official channels.<br \/>\n\u201cBaggage identification tag\u201d means a document issued by Us to identify a Passenger\u2019s Checked<br \/>\nBaggage, including a barcode or tracking number.<br \/>\n\u201cDamage\u201d includes death, wounding, or bodily injury to a Passenger caused by an accident on<br \/>\nthe aircraft or during embarking or disembarking operations; destruction, loss, or damage to<br \/>\nBaggage during air carriage; and damage due to delay in the carriage of Passengers or Baggage.<br \/>\n\u201cCheck-in deadline\u201d means the time limit set by Us for Passengers to complete check-in<br \/>\nprocedures and receive boarding passes.<br \/>\n\u201cTicket price\u201d includes the fare, taxes, fees, charges, service fees, and surcharges (if applicable),<br \/>\nas specified at the time of purchase.<br \/>\n\u201cWebsite\u201d means Our official website at www.lxairways.com.<br \/>\n\u201cHotline\u201d means Our customer service hotline 1556, published on Our Website and Mobile<br \/>\napplication, available for booking and support inquiries.<br \/>\n\u201cMobile application\u201d means Our official Lanexang Airways mobile application, available for<br \/>\niOS and Android devices.<br \/>\n\u201cTicket\u201d means the electronic Confirmation of Itinerary provided by Us or Our authorized<br \/>\nagent, sent to Passengers via email or accessible through Our Mobile application, stating the<br \/>\nPassenger\u2019s name, booking code, flight information, and other journey-related details.<br \/>\n\u201cConfirmation of itinerary\u201d means the document issued by Us to confirm a Passenger\u2019s itinerary<br \/>\nand reservation details, accessible electronically or in print.<br \/>\n\u201cLoyalty Program\u201d means the Lanexang Member Club program, offering rewards and benefits<br \/>\nto frequent flyers, subject to its terms and conditions published on Our Website.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"color: red;\">Article 2. Applicability<\/h4>\n<p><strong>2.1. These Conditions of Carriage apply to all carriage services provided by Us, as indicated on<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>the Ticket, unless otherwise specified in Our regulations, contracts, certificates, or Tickets.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>2.2. Governing Law<\/strong><br \/>\nThe governing law is the law of the Lao PDR. International Conventions or laws take<br \/>\nprecedence for international carriage. In case of inconsistency between these Conditions of<br \/>\nCarriage and applicable Conventions, laws, or irrevocable agreements, the conflicting<br \/>\nprovisions will not apply, but the validity of other provisions remains unaffected.<br \/>\n<strong>2.3. Conditions Prevail Over Regulations<\/strong><br \/>\nIf there is any inconsistency between these Conditions of Carriage and Our other regulations,<br \/>\nthese Conditions shall prevail.<br \/>\n<strong>2.4. Language<\/strong><br \/>\nThe governing language is Lao. In case of conflicts between translations in other languages, the<br \/>\nLao version prevails.<br \/>\n<strong>2.5. Charter Flights<\/strong><br \/>\nFor carriage pursuant to a charter agreement, these Conditions of Carriage apply only to the<br \/>\nextent incorporated by reference in the Ticket or other agreements with Passengers.<br \/>\n<strong>2.6. Codeshare Flights<\/strong><br \/>\nFor codeshare flights, where another carrier operates the aircraft despite a reservation with Us,<br \/>\nWe will inform Passengers of the operating carrier\u2019s identity before reservation. The operating<br \/>\ncarrier\u2019s conditions may apply to certain aspects of the flight.<br \/>\n<strong>2.7. Interline Agreements<\/strong><br \/>\nFor travel involving multiple carriers under an interline agreement, these Conditions apply only<br \/>\nto segments operated by Us, unless otherwise specified in the Ticket.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"color: red;\">Article 3. Tickets<\/h4>\n<p><strong>3.1. A Ticket is the document authorizing air transportation and serves as evidence of the<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Contract of Carriage between Passengers and Us.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>3.2. Tickets are valid only for the Passenger named and the flights specified on the Ticket.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>3.3. Carriage is provided only to the Passenger named on the Ticket, who must present valid<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>identification documents and their booking code at check-in.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>3.4. Tickets are non-transferable and may not be used by anyone other than the named<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Passenger.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>3.5. Electronic Tickets<\/strong><br \/>\nTickets are issued electronically, and Passengers must ensure they have access to their<br \/>\nConfirmation of Itinerary, either digitally or in print, for check-in and boarding.<br \/>\n<strong>3.6. Ticket Validity<\/strong><br \/>\nTickets are valid for one year from the date of issuance, unless otherwise specified in the fare<br \/>\nrules or affected by flight disruptions, subject to Our regulations.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"color: red;\">Article 4. Fares, Ticket Prices, Taxes, Fees, Charges, Surcharges, and Service Fees<\/h4>\n<p><strong>4.1. Fares<\/strong><br \/>\nFares apply only for carriage from the airport at the point of origin to the airport at the point of<br \/>\ndestination, unless otherwise expressly stated. Fares do not include ground transport services<br \/>\nbetween airports or between airports and town terminals. Your fare will be calculated in<br \/>\naccordance with Our Tariff in effect on the date of payment of your Ticket for travel on the<br \/>\nspecific dates and itinerary shown on it. Should you change your itinerary or dates of travel,<br \/>\nthis may impact the fare to be paid. Should the Ticket not be paid at the time of reservation, the<br \/>\ndate of payment shall be deemed the date on which you have agreed with Us on the method of<br \/>\npayment. As a point-to-point carrier, We are not responsible for Passengers\u2019 connecting flights,<br \/>\nincluding immigration procedures, baggage collection, or check-in for subsequent flights. Fares<br \/>\nare published on Our Website and Mobile application.<br \/>\n<strong>4.2. Taxes, Fees, and Charges<\/strong><br \/>\nApplicable taxes, fees, and charges imposed by government or other authority, or by the<br \/>\noperator of an airport, shall be payable by you. At the time you purchase your Ticket, you will<br \/>\nbe advised of all applicable taxes, fees, and charges not included in the fare, most of which will<br \/>\nnormally be shown separately on the Ticket. The taxes, fees, and charges imposed on air travel<br \/>\nare constantly changing and can be imposed after the date of Ticket issuance. If there is an<br \/>\nincrease in a tax, fee, or charge shown on the Ticket, you will be obliged to pay it. Likewise, if<br \/>\na new tax, fee, or charge is imposed even after Ticket issuance, you will be obliged to pay it.<br \/>\nSimilarly, in the event any taxes, fees, or charges which you have paid to Us at the time of<br \/>\nTicket issuance are abolished or reduced such that they no longer apply to you, or a lesser<br \/>\namount is due, you will be entitled to claim a refund. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable<br \/>\nadministration fee for such refund.<br \/>\n<strong>4.2.1.<\/strong> Both Carrier and Non-Carrier Imposed Surcharges shall be payable by you. Carrierimposed surcharges include fuel or insurance surcharges set by Us, while non-carrier surcharges<br \/>\nmay include security or airport improvement fees set by Authorities or airport operators. These<br \/>\nwill be communicated at the time of Ticket purchase and are subject to change.<br \/>\n<strong>4.3. Currency<\/strong><br \/>\nFares, taxes, fees, and charges are payable in the currency of the country in which the Ticket is<br \/>\nissued, typically Lao Kip (LAK), US Dollars (USD), Thai Bath (THB) and Chinese Yuan<br \/>\n(CNY) unless another currency is indicated by Us or Our Authorized Agent at or before the<br \/>\ntime payment is made (for example, due to non-convertibility of the local currency). We may,<br \/>\nat Our discretion, accept payment in another currency, subject to applicable exchange rates<br \/>\npublished by the Bank of the Lao PDR.<br \/>\n<strong>4.4. Ticket Price<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Ticket price encompasses Fares, taxes, fees, charges, surcharges, and service fees, as<br \/>\napplicable, and is detailed at the time of purchase.<br \/>\n<strong>4.5. Promotional Fares<\/strong><br \/>\nPromotional fares may be offered periodically, subject to specific terms, blackout dates, and<br \/>\navailability, as published on Our Website and Mobile application.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"color: red;\">Article 5. Stopover<\/h4>\n<p><strong>5.1. Stopovers are permitted at agreed stopping places, subject to Authorities\u2019 requirements,<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Our regulations, and availability.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>5.2. Stopovers must be arranged in advance with Us or the relevant Carrier(s) and specified on<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>the Ticket.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>5.3. Additional fees may apply for stopovers, depending on the fare type and route, as outlined<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>at the time of booking.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"color: red;\">Article 6. Reservations<\/h4>\n<p><strong>6.1. Reservations<\/strong><br \/>\nReservations can be made via Our Website, Mobile application, authorized Agents, Hotline, or<br \/>\nTicket offices.<br \/>\n<strong>6.2. Confirmation of Reservations<\/strong><br \/>\nReservations are confirmed upon full payment. Passengers receive a Ticket with a booking code<br \/>\nconfirming the reservation.<br \/>\n<strong>6.3. Ticket Class Conditions<\/strong><br \/>\nEach Ticket class has specific conditions, including change and cancellation policies, published<br \/>\non Our Website and Mobile application. Passengers are responsible for reviewing these<br \/>\nconditions, and We are not liable for Passenger errors.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"cz_108860\" class=\"cz_108860 cz_image clr cz_image_no_fx center_on_mobile\"><div class=\"\" ><div class=\"cz_image_in\"><div class=\"cz_main_image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"277\" height=\"541\" src=\"https:\/\/lxairways.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/RBD-1.png\" class=\"attachment-full\" alt=\"\" title=\"RBD\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lxairways.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/RBD-1.png 277w, https:\/\/lxairways.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/RBD-1-154x300.png 154w, https:\/\/lxairways.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/RBD-1-6x12.png 6w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 277px) 100vw, 277px\" \/><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"cz_66089\" class=\"cz_66089 cz_title clr cz_title_pos_inline\"><div class=\"cz_title_content\"><div class=\"cz_wpe_content\"><p><strong>6.4. Changes to Reservations<\/strong><br \/>\na. For Tickets allowing changes, we will process requested changes to reservations, subject to<br \/>\navailability and payment of any applicable fees or fare differences, as per the Ticket class<br \/>\nconditions published on Our Website and Mobile application. b. Changes are updated in the<br \/>\nPassenger\u2019s Ticket upon completion of payment for fees or fare differences.<br \/>\n<strong>6.5. Payment Requirement<\/strong><br \/>\nFull payment is required to confirm a reservation. We reserve the right to cancel reservations<br \/>\nand refuse carriage if payment is incomplete or invalid.<br \/>\n<strong>6.6. Children\u2019s Fares<\/strong><br \/>\nChildren aged 14 days to under 2 years at the time of departure are subject to specific service<br \/>\nfees, published on Our Website, Mobile application, or booking system. Such children must<br \/>\ntravel on an adult\u2019s lap, with one adult accompanying only one child. Prams and pushchairs are<br \/>\nnot permitted on board.<br \/>\n<strong>6.7. Personal Data<\/strong><br \/>\nPassengers consent to providing personal information for reservations, Ticket purchases,<br \/>\nservice provision, immigration procedures, and compliance with Authorities. We may retain,<br \/>\nuse, and share this information with Our offices, authorized agents, Authorities, or service<br \/>\nproviders for purposes including:<br \/>\n\u2022 Reservation, payment, and Ticket issuance;<br \/>\n\u2022 Journey change notifications and service delivery;<br \/>\n\u2022 Accounting, billing, auditing, and payment verification;<br \/>\n\u2022 Immigration and customs compliance;<br \/>\n\u2022 Safety, security, and legal purposes;<br \/>\n\u2022 Statistical analysis, loyalty program management, and system maintenance;<br \/>\n\u2022 Customer service, direct marketing, and market research.<br \/>\nWe ensure third-party confidentiality as required by law.<br \/>\n<strong>6.8. Advance Seat Reservations<\/strong><br \/>\nPassengers may reserve seats in advance, subject to fees based on Ticket class, published on<br \/>\nOur Website and Mobile application. While We strive to honor seat preferences, We reserve the<br \/>\nright to reassign seats for safety, security, or operational reasons, even after boarding. In cases<br \/>\nof flight changes, cancellations, or delays, We will arrange suitable seats.<br \/>\n<strong>6.9. Seat Assignment<\/strong><br \/>\nSeats are assigned at check-in, but We may reassign seats at any time for safety, regulatory,<br \/>\nhealth, or security reasons.<br \/>\n<strong>6.10. On-board Services<\/strong><br \/>\nOn-board products and services, such as meals, duty-free items, and souvenirs, are nonrefundable and non-transferable after purchase. Passengers must present boarding passes to<br \/>\nreceive purchased services.<br \/>\n<strong>6.11. Services for Special Passengers<\/strong><br \/>\na. Special Passengers include children, disabled persons, elderly individuals, pregnant women,<br \/>\nand those with medical conditions or mobility issues, as defined by law. b. Requests for special<br \/>\nservices must be made at booking or notified to Our Agents or Hotline at least 48 hours before<br \/>\ndeparture. We will endeavor to accommodate requests within Our capabilities and confirm<br \/>\neligibility based on Our Conditions of Carriage. Details are published on Our Website and<br \/>\nMobile application. c. We are not liable for losses or damages if We cannot provide requested<br \/>\nservices without prior confirmation of Our ability to do so. Airport requests are subject to<br \/>\ncondition checks and may be denied. d. Transport of mobility aids for special Passengers is<br \/>\nexempt from fees. e. For safety, We limit carriage to 8 Passengers with reduced mobility per<br \/>\nflight, with a maximum of 2 unable to navigate aircraft stairs. Cabin mobility devices are not<br \/>\nprovided, but assistance procedures are in place. f. Passengers unable to evacuate independently<br \/>\nor understand safety instructions may require an accompanist aged 18 or older. g. Some special<br \/>\nservices may incur fees, as published on Our Website and Mobile application.<br \/>\n<strong>6.12. Loyalty Program Benefits<\/strong><br \/>\nMembers of the Lanexang royal program may receive priority booking, seat selection, or<br \/>\nadditional baggage allowances, subject to program terms.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"color: red;\">Article 7. Check-in<\/h4>\n<p><strong>7.1. Refusal of Check-in<\/strong><br \/>\nWe may refuse check-in and bear no liability if:<br \/>\na. Passengers arrive after the check-in deadline. b. Passengers lack valid identification required<br \/>\nby Authorities. c. Passengers lack required travel documents, permits, or visas. d. Passengers<br \/>\npresent an invalid or unpaid Ticket. e. Passengers act violently, cause disorder, or insult Our<br \/>\nstaff. f. Passengers are banned from travel by governments or Authorities. g. Passengers appear<br \/>\nunfit for travel due to intoxication, mental, or physical conditions. h. Passengers\u2019 health poses<br \/>\na risk to themselves or others. i. Passengers fail to comply with laws, Authorities, or Our<br \/>\nregulations.<br \/>\n<strong>7.3. Self-check-in<\/strong><br \/>\nSelf-check-in may be available, with conditions published on Our Website and Mobile<br \/>\napplication. International flight passengers using self-check-in must present identification at the<br \/>\ncounter within specified times.<br \/>\n<strong>7.4. Unavailable Seats<\/strong><br \/>\nIf confirmed seats are unavailable, Passengers may choose:<br \/>\na. Carriage on the next available flight at no additional cost. b. Rescheduling within 180 days<br \/>\n(excluding public holidays), with fares preserved in Our system. c. A full refund of the Ticket<br \/>\nprice if neither option is acceptable.<br \/>\n<strong>7.5. Boarding<\/strong><br \/>\nPassengers must arrive at boarding gates 30 minutes before departure. Required for safety or security. b. Necessary to comply with laws or regulations of any<br \/>\ncountry. c. Passengers\u2019 behavior, age, mental state, or Baggage condition:<br \/>\n\u2022 Causes fear or harm to others.<br \/>\n\u2022 Poses a hazard to themselves, others, or property.<br \/>\n\u2022 Requires unconfirmed special assistance. d. Passengers have prior misconduct likely to<br \/>\nrecur. e. Passengers show non-compliance with Our guidelines. f. Passengers refuse or<br \/>\nfail security screening. g. Evidence shows Passengers will be refused entry. h. Tickets<br \/>\nare invalid, counterfeit, unlawfully acquired, altered, or unpaid. i. Passengers lack valid<br \/>\nidentification. j. Required by Authorities. k. Passengers refuse to pay a requested deposit<br \/>\n(Article 7.9).<br \/>\n<strong>8.2. Limitation of Carriage<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>8.2.1. Delay Liability<\/strong><br \/>\nFor Baggage delays exceeding 24 hours, goodwill compensation applies, per Our Website and<br \/>\nConventions.<br \/>\n<strong>13.4.
