Special Assistance

Airlines can provide the following types of services:

Wheelchair services for the elderly or sick are divided into 03 types: Services:

  • WCHR (Ramp): For those who can walk but need occasional assistance
  • WCHS (Step): For those who move slowly and need help boarding/deboarding
  • WCHR (Ramp): For those who can walk but need occasional assistance

Assistance for Visually Impaired Passengers:

  • 1–4 persons: No companion required
  • 5+: One companion required
  • 6–10 persons: Two companions required

Assistance for Hearing Impaired:

Available but needs special staff arrangements

Unaccompanied Minor (UM) Service (Ages 4–12):

  • Free of charge
  • Airline staff will supervise until arrival
  • Ages 4–6: Only 2 allowed per flight
  • Ages 6–12: Can travel alone or with assistance
  • All UMs must wear ID tags for easy identification
